Preface from the author

Dear readers, what you will read on the next pages is a next-to complete guide through the jungle of Doors Live-CDs.
I did my best to review all bootleg CDs I own, and I checked all the ones owned by friends. If you have any compact
disc not listed in this guide, please let me know for a further update. Send an MP3 copy plus a scan or clear photo of
the cover to my email address. Please note: the guide has hardly been updated since 1998, we will be adding more
recent releases in future updates - all help is welcome!

This CD guide may not be published in any media without my written permission! It is very unique, almost complete,
and I worked hard on it for quite a long time.You're welcome to send me your comments. These contents were
originally published in the paper editions of the Doors Quarterly Magazine over the many years until 1999, and
previously bundled in a book called THE DOORS ON STAGE (1996).

Please be aware that the list shows factory-made compact discs only, we don't mention CD-ROM's...

First Grading = Soundquality
	= superb	(first class recording quality, truly exceptional)
	= excellent	(nice quality of recording)
	= good	(still good recording but flaws)
	= average	(flawed recording but still listenable)
	= bad	(crap sound quality for hard-core collectors, caution advised)
	= piss poor	(worst soundquality and/or ugly cuts, best avoided)

Second Grading = Rarity Of Material
	= superb	(superrare previously unpublished material, truly exceptional)
	= excellent	(already published but still rare material)
	= good	(common material many fans will know)
	= average	(very common material every fan knows, caution advised)
	= bad	(just another uninteresting compilation of standard material)
	= piss poor	(intentionally falsified or/and mislabeled material: don't buy!)

Third Grading = Visual Attractiveness
	= superb	(absolute high-quality design, excellent professional design)
	= excellent	(nice design, suitable for framing, worth collecting)
	= good	(still interesting, but could have been done better)
	= average	(looks like many other bootleg designs around)
	= bad	(uninteresting design, amateurish, not worth to be mentioned)
	= piss poor	(the bootlegger didn't give a shit about the design)
